The Val Gardena funicular railway - an ideal connection from Seceda to Ciampinoi
The Val Gardena Ronda Express is an attraction in the marvellous winter paradise of Val Gardena. The underground funicular railway with two compartments and a turnout in the middle of the route connects the ski area Col Raiser/Secëda with the ski area Sochers/Ciampinoi in the south and thus the ski circuit Sellaronda. In this way, all skiing areas of the valley are connected.

The railway covers a distance of 1.2 km and is able to transport some 2,000 people per hour with an average speed of 10 m/sec (some 36 km/h). This sums up to an overall transport time of 3 minutes.
