Mountain passes

The Val Gardena valley is connected with other valleys of South Tyrol and the Trentino by several mountain passes

Around the mighty Sella Group, four mountain passes are located: Passo Gardena, Passo Campolongo, Passo Pordoi and Passo Sella. A dream among mountain bikers and motorcyclists, convertible drivers and alpinists who are in the heart of the Dolomites here.

Two of the passes, the Passo Gardena and the Passo Sella, both higher than 2,000 m, are located in the Val Gardena and connect the valley with the Val Badia and the Val di Fassa.

In winter the mountain passes can be visited on skis, the so-called Sellaronda ski round invites to enjoy the beautiful landscape. A third mountain pass, the Passo Pinei (1,437 m a.s.l.) connects the Val Gardena with the Valle Isarco valley and is also well-known.
