The walk starts in S. Cristina: the route first leads to the Monte Pana. After reaching this marvelous plateau, the chairlift takes the group to the quiet and peaceful Mont Sëura alpine pasture. From the top station of the chairlift, a slightly uphill path leads to the Ciaulonch saddle. Afterwards, a slightly downhill path meets the Santner trail, which finally reaches the Rifugio Vicenza at 2,253 m - surrounded by the fascinating mountain scenery of the Sassolungo. The descent is via the long pastures of Plan de Cunfin back to Monte Pana.
