The village of Bulla extends on a plateau above the gorge of Bulla, stretching from Alpe di Siusi to Ortisei
Bulla is located only a stone's throw from Ortisei at an altitude of 1,480 m. From an administrative viewpoint, it belongs to the municipality of Castelrotto. In the south west of the village, the 2,175 m high Monte Bullaccia towers into the sky, separating Alpe di Siusi from the Valgardena valley by its "witches' benches“.
Bulla is a real beauty spot, the road from Ortisei takes into a 700 m long tunnel ending in the village, so there is no through traffic. The S. Leonardo parish church adorns the village centre, its original Roman construction dating back to the 13th century has been supplemented by adding first Gothic, later on Baroque construction elements.
The view of Ortisei and the Seceda is particularly impressive from Bulla. A vast hiking network overstretches the area from the gorge of Bulla up to the Alpe di Siusi alpine pasture and Monte Bullaccia. Undoubtedly ideal conditions for relaxing holidays in a unique unspoilt natural environment.
